A ready-to-go base salad mix is essential for living a no "added" sugar lifestyle. My go-to mix is made of kale, broccoli, collard green, celery and carrot. The vibrant mix of greens serves as an excellent base to any salad bowl and can be sprinkled on top of any plate. It can also be stirred into simmering soups and makes an excellent stir-fry (as shown). The mix will keep up to a full week if washed, chopped and stored correctly.
